How to Navigate the Project Life App

Updated: May 19, 2020

Welcome to Part 2 of the Project Life Tutorial Series! Today we will be going over just the basics of navigating the Project Life App. If you missed the first part of this series, click here to catch up!

Things you will need to begin:

1. The Project Life App from the Play Store

Easy enough, right!? Let's Begin!

After you open up your app, you will see a screen that, to me, looked like a loading or logo screen. My first time opening this app, I stayed on this screen for at least 5 minutes because I thought it was loading still!

Anyway, Let me break down this screen for you! In the top-left quarter of the circle is where you can go to make photo collages. This section has templates that allow you to fit multiple pictures into one pocket in your template, which we will get to next.

Clicking on the top-right quarter of this circle will take you to start a new spread. There are lots and lots of templates. Some of these you have to pay for, but you get a pretty good, basic selection for free. This is where you will need to go every time you want to create a new page.

Once you save your spreads, you can go to the bottom-left corner of the circle to view all kinds of information. You can see what spreads you are still working on, what ones are completed, what kits you have, what fonts you have, and much more. This is also the page where you can import fonts. Check out this post to learn how to add a font to the Project Life App.

Of course in the bottom-right corner, clicking on the question mark will help you solve any problems that you might have. You can find the FAQ, Customer Support, and much more.

Now that we have taken you through how to navigate the opening screen of the Project Life App, let's make our first spread! Click here to access part 3 of the Project Life Tutorial Series!
